Andreas Rechkemmer博士是德国科隆大学教授，国际全球环境变化人文因素计划（IHDP）前执行理事，德国波恩联合国防治沙漠化公约（UNCCD）高级科学顾问，瑞士达沃斯全球风险论坛科学和政策高级顾问，北京师范大学客座教授。
       Rechkemmer博士的研究兴趣是全球环境治理、风险、人类安全、全球变化研究、可持续发展教育以及知识和社会学习。

Abstract: The social sciences are critical to global change research , only concerted human effort can slow down or reverse the trajectory of climate change and its effects on people. Analyze the conclusion of a recent report from the U.S. National Research Council (2009), address some important issues.
