个人简介

 

孙诚(1985-),男,教授。长期从事大西洋AMOC变异机理和地表环境变化响应等方面的研究工作。荣获国际气象学和大气科学协会青年科学家奖章(IAMAS Early Career Scientist Medal)和谢义炳青年气象科技奖等国内外学术奖励。受邀担任《npj Climate and Atmospheric Science》(IF=8.6)编委。指导的研究生获得国家奖学金、研究生学术创新奖一等奖等。多次资助优秀学生参加国内外学术会议,学生获奖包括第七届青年地学论坛优秀报告奖等。

 

主要研究内容

 

  1. 深海环流由于巨大的热容量和碳储量,是地球气候系统的调节器,是影响中长期气候预测的关键因素。2021年中科院和科瑞唯安联合发布《2020研究前沿》权威报告中北大西洋深海环流的研究被评选为地球科学十大热点前沿之一。研究深海环流变化机理及对年代际气候变异的影响既是地球科学前沿热点领域,也符合提升中长期气候预测水平的国家需求。大西洋是全球深海环流研究的核心区,是年代际气候变率的关键源区。申请人近年来围绕大西洋海-气系统多年代际振荡机理及其气候效应这一主题进行了较为系统的研究,提出了大气环流和深海环流耦合作用产生年代际气候振荡的新观点,系统阐述了大气环流-深海环流之间的驱动反馈机制以及大西洋影响全球气候的大气和海洋通道,成果提升了对深海环流年代际变异成因及气候响应机理的认识。
